gone too soon

I really think this year has gone by too quickly. As the years go by, each new year seems to fly by even more quickly than the last.

Maldives was like a dream, seems so surreal being there.
The water is perfectly turquoise and clear, so clear u can practically see the coral and fishies .
Clubmed was really good, It was a holiday packed with things to do.
There is a party in the afternoon and in the night. Toooooo goood!
I stepped out of my comfort zone for abit there, did things i never thought i would, such as, cooking classes, water dance, water polo, i even joined in the night time party dance. Feels really goood.
While at Kani, i also dived and snorkled. saw sting rays and a giant eel while diving and experienced one hell of a current.
Snorkeling was very nice too, saw many different kinds of fishies.
the food at kani, i wish i were a bottomless pitt. Theres always so much food, so much variety all times of the day. Will never ever go hungry and best of all, they are all inclusive and eat all u can anytime anywhere, the same goes for drinks and alcohol. The island saved on alcohol when it came to me, i just drank mocktails like refresh and fruit punch, hahahahahha.

The part i miss most at kani are the staff working there. So warm and so talented. All workers, regardless of race or place of origin, speak multiple languages! Most workers are maldivians or from the areas around there.
They make unbelievably attractive towel animals, i always looked forward going back to the room after it had been made up. Always a new towel animal.! =D

Was damn sad to leave kani, i made friends with almost alll the staff on the island, to the point where, everywhere i went, i'd have to say hi and stop for a chat, not complaining, it was really nice .
They were such nice friends that when it came to leaving the island, it was the hardest thing to do. They gave us hugs and email addresses.

Honestly i wish i was like 17 and a fresh o'level grad, id def apply to go work at clubmed maldives. its not a job, its a vacation!
I'd def want to go back there! DEF!!

Next trip will be to penang and then off again to tour europe. Jetsetting adventures. I can get used to this kinda life =D Learning new things, meeting new people and discovering that u're not all that smart cause the person making up your room can speak french and japanese and he is from india.

Also realised that travelling with different people opens your mind, i learnt alot from my maldivian trip. People with different experiences can def throw me some knowledge and feed my mind. Always good to learn new things. But of coz, u have to travel with knowledgable people, not those who feed on u instead and be a complete leech and it just feels like baby sitting and u learn nothing but the art of being patient. HAHAHA
Luckily for me, it only happened once and never again. After the bangkok trip baby sitting, subsequent trips were totallly awsome , with people who actuallly had a mind of their own.

During the period post exams till now, I've done so many new things i never thought i would. For example, fishing at the whitsundays, Diving at the great barrier reef and Maldives, Playing water polo, going on a jet boating adventure, going on a water slide that led directly into the sea, learn to make maldivian curry and creme brulee, night swimming in a lagoon, caught a fishie which i threw back (for karma points), made many new friends from all over the planet, gained new appreciation for things, stayed in a youth hostel, drove a Van, Danced in the water and on land, sat on a beach filled with gulls and had a meal with them flying over me and walking to me like friggin vultures, learnt that those from the red corner dont know how to swim, wind sailing, canoeing

Also i realised that i need to learn alot more and there is reallly alot i havent experienced, many terms, names, places and stuff i need to experience and get to know. A LOT! so more travel!!
