The good die young and leave no legacy behind but the bad live on
I do not understand why good people always seem to die young. They contract an illness at a very young age and die at a very young age. Not fair. SO are u saying that u have to be evil in order to live till a ripe old age?
Anyway, placement has ended and it is currently week 11 of study. week 13 is the final week of school before the study week and the exams. so u do the counting and don't tell me how much time i have left before the exams! Its good and bad. Good, im going home, Carin's and Maldives is nearing.
Bad, long friggin hours of study and painful memory work.
As i was working i realised that orh sees really talk funny. They will come in to the pharmacy and say, how are u mate? then the pharmacist will say how are u? no one actually replies to the how are u bit by saying, im good? im great? it just goes both ways, how are u and they are perfectly accepting of that nonsense! How can that be? has it become a normal greeting? y so weird. ?
If u think that is weird, wait till u hear how they commend u for something good. they say,'good on u'.
WTH? what the hell is 'goood on u'? If u wanna say, that dress looks good on u, its fine lah. but using good on u when u say , 'i'm still in uni and im am doing my placement now' isnt it, good for u? and not good on u?
And they use the word 'look' like a casual word. EVEN in oral exam recordings by lecturers. they will say. 'look' heres an example. "look' i understand your problem but 'look' there is nothing i can do about it. is it supposed to be comforting? personally, i find it rather RUDE? no? who uses LOOK casually? i only use LOOK whn im scolding someone, when i brought it up to the tutor in the class, she looked at me strangely and said it was normal slang. OK loh, as u wish.
They also like to say 'too easy' KNN! e.g patient comes into the pharmacy to get a prescription filled then the pharmacist says , 'too easy!' and walks off to get it filled? WTH. everything too easy, sure not? Ask u to do OT see u say too easy not.! and they say Thank you as 'TA'. So goddamn lazy they condense the word thank you to 'Ta'. no wonder their teens lack manners!
When they need u to repeat something they go 'hey?' ! HAHAHAHHA kukus!
But anw placement was good! i feel that ive learnt alot of hands on work this time. i really went thru and learnt an incredible load. Its reallllly more than i thought id learn. i think i can start a permanent job there now. Ill miss it for sure.
