unplanned but in perfect time

Today was a totallly unplanned, unexpected and everything happening in perfect time, day.

First off, i went to school thinking that after tutorial, id have starbucks with J,T,X,P&B before the 1 hour lecture and then home with A.

I met them before class in the waiting area and they were all contemplating if we should wait the 2 hours after tut for the 1 hour lecture. all of us were clearly unwilling. Then someone mentioned DimSum after class and that was it, we all made the decision to leave school after the tutorial.
So... J,T,X,P,B and me headed for DimSum in the City, YumCha ,they say.
Amongst us the only 3 asians were me X and B. B's parents live in HK but he moved to NZ for studies and live with grandparents there, and now here for uni. Anw, to cut a long story short, never underestimate people. Thinking that he speaks good english id never never think that he could speak mandarin or dialact for that matter. I would also think that he is westernised and has lost his roots totalllly. BUT NO! He SHOCKED ME TODAY! He reads the traditional chinese characters and infact taught me how to read some on the menu. He also spoke to the waiters and waitresses in cantonese!! EVERYTHING in CANTONESE!! i poured him tea and he said 'Mmm goi' WAHLAO!!! immediately i smiled, my face, at that moment had a brain of its own.
So i was asking him about hongkong and we got to the subject on being traditional chinese. He told me that his family is super traditional to the point where on his mother's birthday, he has to kneel in front of her and say thank you to her and wish her good health and alll that...... OMG LAH!! i didnt expect that from his face! you'll never expect this from just looking at him. Im shocked beyond words. But i RESPECT such people. realllly.. especially the reallly traditional chinese ones from traditional chinese homes. i hate the westernised ones. He eats wing wah mooncakes tooooo!! AND drinks 'heong pin' tooooooooooooo!
Traditional Chinese is the way to go. I LIKE!

Okay so the dimsum breakfast was not planned and really unexpected, then ALCA bbm'ed me after she had finished her tut asking me if i would like to pay a visit to my placement pharmacy since i needed to familiarise myself with the trains and all.
I met her in town and we proceeded. At every traffic light, as we reached the light, the green man would come on, at the train station, we walked to the platform and 'TADAH' the train was just arriving. MAGIC!

The pharmacy im gonna do placement at is reallllllly big. not too far from the city. about 3 stops away from the city. i'll survive.

The original plan was to go for EKKA this sat, but we were thinking that its gonna be the same and we'd have to end up spending even more money there so the plan now is to go to sunnybank and chillax at sakuraya and prolly head to yuens and go have dimsum there.

Now i think i'll be sad when i graduate. not cause ill be leaving this crappy land but cause ill be leaving the friends ive made from all round the world. bittersweet ending its gonna be.
